Fotolog.com is the biggest THIEFS COMMUNITY I have ever seen on the internet. A place where they can share stolen images, claim them as theirs, support each other in thievery and lie.

A place overflowing with 'borrowed' art pieces from all over deviantART with authors' signatures erased or replaced with thiefs' signatures and watermakrs. Important elements that may point to the original authors are mostly replaced, removed or cropped.

Hundreds of fotolog.com members' accounts/profiles are filled with stolen artworks without any credits. Sometimes you can find a whole deviantART member's gallery uploaded to fotolog by a thief. Sometimes you can see a fotolog.com member uploading dozens or hundreds of artwork that belong to different artists from around the intetnet.

Hundreds of artworks repeat in different galleries - in most of such galleries they have signatures removed, cropped or replaced with a name of profile's owner. So in one profile member XXX claims that it's his/her work and in other profile user XYZ claims that it's his/her. Despite for that fact they add each other to 'friends' and support other thiefs.

Most of these thiefs claim that the artwork they submit belongs to them. In fotolog.com rules it's clearly stated that the materials you submit HAVE TO BELONG TO YOU.
So they even don't have to say 'I'm the author' if they want to lie - they state it by simply submitting an art piece to their gallery. And at the same time - they break gallery's rules.

If you enter one thiefs profile and then visit his 'friends' list you will see like 50 (or much more) people listed there, where most often 90% of them are thiefs too.
By visiting their 'friends' you will find another 50 people who are thiefs as well.. And so on.
From one thief to another.

Fotolog.com members delete comments from their guestbooks that refer to their activity as thiefs. Or they disable comments at all. They rarely listen when asked to remove others art.

Fotolog.com is a PARADISE FOR THIEFS as the admins and webmasters of this website seem to ignore original authors and their requests. They also have a very long procedure when it comes to handling such cases. And all that you get after sending them 3-4 emails (that follow their steps that wre sent as a reply of every email; where you give tons of links to the stolen and original material and prove that you are the author) you get 'We will see IF we will do something about it' in the end.

In one part of fotolog.com rules it's stated that members should submit only their own art/photography and in other part you can read that photolog is not obliged to delete copyright violating stuff. And is not obliged to do anything at all. So they SUPPOER BREAKING THEIR OWN RULES.

A few people have been emailing fotolog.com in order to have their work removed or thiefs' account closed - they've received the standard auto replies but fotolog DID NOT remove their art or do anything to stop thief's activity.

It seems that the best way to stop people stealing art and submitting it to fotolog.com is to BECOME A MEMBER, REGISTER AND UPLOAD ARTWORK and then fight with thiefs. So that's HOW FOTOLOG.COM GAINS NEW MEMBERS (?).

Thiefs on fotolog are complimented on the art they steal and also some of them are offered job/commissions offers. The images are too small to do anything with them (print for example) but they can earn money by 'Selling the idea' to somebody who will than use it as a basis for something else. I just hope that this never happened. But I've seen commissions offers there. Hope the thiefs never replied to them.

I've browsed like 150+ and in each of them I've found minimum 1 stolen artwork. In most of the galleries there are dozens and in some even hundreds stolen pictures. Count that.

Fotolog admins, webmasters don't find it strange that they see the same pictures uploaded by different people over and over again.
Oh wait!! If they have ANY staff that ckechs the page's content - not only for theft byt for example for children or underaged teenagers who put erotic materials of themselves. Great.


Fotolog.com does not have an easy 'report picture' procedure. They don't have a button that you can click to report something. You have to write them and then answer like 3-4 after which.. Well, I've mentioned it above.. You get 'We will see IF we will handle it' reply.

Fotolog.com members steal art from eachother and put it (back) on fotolog.com. So the stolen art spreads over the whole thiefs community.

I've been informed that fotolog.com is a community where all's about compeeting in who will get the most interesting/original/nice picture. And people like these LOVE compeeting in something that they don't need to put any effort in apart from saving an artwork to disc and submitting it to fotolog.com
