    If it continues..
    My whole profile comments section will be full of SPAM hidden messages because some eastern (as it seems; and not only) companies.. Prolly employed some kids or launched spam bots to send spam all over DA recommending blogs of TV shows, fanclubs of those shows.. Sites promoting regional tourism..
    And others totally useless sites because I even can't understand the language the sites content is written in :D

    So I stopped clicking on the links after I received second or third comment like this. First I wanted to chech what it's about and I did. +1 click for them. Yay.

    Ok then. That's all. Thanks DA for the 'report SPAM' button.
    But personally I could use a profile button 'report SPAMMER'.
    Yeah..

    Do any of you have the same thing going on..?
    Have you found out anything about that? If those are just employed people? Or bots?

    EDIT>> Ok, I'm NOT a 'conspiracy theory' fan.. Or anything like this, especially when it comes to big companies. But I just thought.. Maybe actually DA is being paid by those companies to allow such activity?
    You know..
    Like ppl are paid by companies to write good things about some products on their blogs.. Where readers trust these authors as reliable ' publishers ' and have no idea that they are being simply paid for that.
    Hm.. Gonna write DA staff. I'm too curious..

    Yup I clicked twice on stuff like this here. At the beginning as they started appearing. Right now I just hide them.. Or first check the spammers profile to make sure and not block a random person you know.. Wouldn't be to pleasant ;)

    Spam sucks period. I was running into so much of this stuff when I was using blogger that I quit using their service all together. Everytime I'd write something, some axxhole would post a link to some crapware site. And yes, I've seen this here too. Just plain annoying. I someone on my watch list starts spamming I remove them immediately or block them. I do however make a point to check the link in my status bar before clicking, to make sure it is legit.

    Yeah spamming really bites my ass too. It's a pity we don't have the option to report SPAM. Or delete. I ban spammers from my site.

    I sometimes wonder why some people have a huuuge line of "comment hidden by owner" It'd be awful having to put up with all that.
    I usually just check how many other people it sent to. If there's eight other people whose names all happen to start with "Sadistic" I become suspicious.
    I just can't stand the porn comments on youtube, when they're attached to completly innocent uploads that younger kids could look at.

    Hm, I guess you'll be better off with ignoring/reporting spam, blocking and whatnot but definitely don't try to look for conspiracy where's no such thing. It's just as if the main post office was sending all those leaflets as a part of huge conspiracy between companies and making the recipient's life more painful. I wish I had problems like you, sometimes:(

    The post office is being paid for delivering them. In most cases and it's legal :)
    I'm happy I don't have 'your problems'.. Because I have no idea what those are.
